Pennsylvania Trip to my old home

Some of you may already know, but I been planning a trip to Pennsylvania. I been wanting to go back to my old home. I decided my journal would be a good place to list details of the trip. If anyone wants to go please let me know.

When:
July 31 to August 3rd. Its a Friday to a Monday.

Where:
Sullivan County, PA. Laporte, Dushore, or Muncy Valley will probably be where I will be staying. Not sure on where yet. Will post when I do make up my mind the location.

What there is to do:
Laporte Fireman's carnival will be this weekend. Saturday there will be fireworks. There are two main state parks I would like to visit: Ricketts Glen and Worlds End State Park. I plan on hiking a few trails. The Falls trail in Ricketts Glen, and maybe High Rock Trail in Worlds end. Plus there are some very awesome overlooks that we can drive to. I know where the good swimming holes are also.

Why:
I want to go back to the county for a few reasons. Big reason is I miss the place, and the second reason is I want to work on one of my resolutions to learn to drive farther. I think this will be good for me to finally show that my fear of driving is gone.

I have had a few people show interest in coming with me. I only have so much room in my car, so space is limited. :D I hope this goes well. I think it will be fun!

Not sure if the groundhog saw is shadow yesterday, but the birds I keep seeing outside seem to be pointing toward an early spring. There are Robins out back nearly every day. Snow covers the yard but there are Robins every where. Took a trip to the post office, and I saw a robin hanging out on a light post.

I love the snow, but have no ability to go enjoy it properly at this time. I love cross-country skiing and sledding. I guess I will just have to stay inside and work on more art. Hope to post more to my FA soon. I haven't had a commission since December.

As always "Artist LFW, PST" for those that would understand that ;)

Must get some form of income soon...

Its a new year. Lots going on in my life, a lot not by choice. Some big decisions need to be made on where I would like to live. Its a new year, and I hope it will be better then last year. Resolutions are scary, they hardly ever get done, but I have some all the same.

1. I want to go to school, preferably for art.
2. Get my life stable again.
3. Get a job again. Unemployed is not fun at this time of year.
4. Meet more people.
5. Get outside more then I did last year.
6. Learn to drive farther then I have before. (Farthest I have driven is about a 2.5 hour drive)
7. Same as every year: More art!

I think that is a start. I hope for a better year. Happy New Year!

Oh and snow on New Years Eve sucks.

Christmas and New Years is right around the corner. I'm not prepared. I have no Christmas tree. I want to go out and have fun. I do not want to be alone this month. I want to go out and enjoy the season. Yankee Candle is in Mass. Its on my to do list of things over the next week to two weeks till Christmas. Ever since I left wow, I have been doing art every day. May not be completing projects but been working on something each day. Just want to go drive some place and meet people.

I do miss wow. Some day I will return, but for now I want to enjoy what I can of the season.

Today is my last day of wow for now. I hope to be back to do the Christmas events in game. That would make me happy. I'm trying to be positive.

Art is on my mind more then ever. I plan when not looking for more work, to be drawing up a storm. I'm currently taking commissions, since some have fallen through. Art! Art! Art! I even signed up with FA. I hope to post something regularly. Suggestions for ideas are welcome. I need to stay focused and positive. Maybe this is what I needed all a long. A shove in the right direction. Can't say this isn't with out stress, but maybe in the end it's what I needed.

Thanksgiving

Today is the day after Thanksgiving. Black Friday, day retailers go from the red into the black. I was very thankful for my thanksgiving meal yesterday. I ate at Uno's. It was a little lonely being a lone on Thanksgiving, but I sure did eat a lot. Had a Turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes, and a bowl of pumpkin something soup that was very very good. Hmm and coffee...I love coffee.....It makes the world a happy place....coffee...

I got a desert to go, and when I got home I was stuffed for 2 more hours, and finally ate it with a glass of wine. It was a good Thanksgiving. Now I am to today where the realization of "how things truly are" are weigh down on me.

I canceled my world of warcraft account earlier in the week. I love wow, I still want to play, but I cant afford to pay any more. I'm left realizing it is time to tell my guild. Monday the First at 3 in the morning when server resets is my last moments. Sigh. I love the game too much. I just have to keep thinking its for the best.

Commissions canceled, Commissions not paying, I guess I am in a miserable spot. But I am thankful for the good food of yesterday, my family footed the bill for that one.

I'm currently suffering from a form of artist block which makes anything I draw complete crap. Deadlines of getting the commissions done seem to be making my drawing in the toilet. Sigh. Maybe some doodling is in form. Listening to music isn't calming.

On another note today is veterans day. Time to remember our vets especially the ones who are still over sea.

Up late and can not sleep so time to post to the journal.

Trying very hard to fix my website. Spent all day trying to figure out how to update it since its been four years since I have done so. It looks very sad right now with lots of broken links. Had advice from some friends, and pulled my hair out all day trying to implement what they suggested to find out from my brother that my host just sucks and I need to move some place else that is cheaper that offers more services. Too bad I already paid the morons and now can't afford the move. I guess its time for plan B till then, More ART!

I'm currently booked for the Christmas season for commissions unless it is something easy like a badge or shrinky dink ornaments/key chains. I recently rediscovered Shrinky dinks. I love them. Still trying to find a good seal for the backs of them. But I love the effects of seeing my art shrink down to ultra small details. Plus its fun!

Time for sleep again...

ZZZzzzZZZz
